Roommates

So, I just realized that I'd never updated this blog about my trip to Salt Lake City. Well, let me just start out by saying that it was incredible! My roommates were all so nice and sweet to me, especially Ross, and they showed me all around the church, the university, and the city. I now can't wait to move there, and I was actually pretty sad when I had to leave. I was able to meet some of the students that go to the church, but a lot of people were gone because it's the summer. There's a Cuban lady who goes to the church, and when I met her I was praying that she had a son, and she did! And then she told me that he was engaged... to be married in july... fml. lol, jk. But yea, it was incredible, I will load pictures soon. Sorry this entry is so short!

Salt Lake City, t-minus 22 hours

I leave to Salt Lake City tomorrow morning, bright and early at 7 am. I'll be arriving there around 9:45 to meet my new roommates, see my new apartment, and pretty much get a feel for what will shortly become my new life. It's crazy to me that in July I'll be living in a different state completely on my own, without any family close by. I'm not scared at all, just aprehensive... mostly excited. I want to start this new chapter of my life! And I will admit what I'm most looking foward to is finally being in my program.

Anyway, I tried the blogging thing in high school, not very successfully, I might add, but I'm attempting it again so that ppl can keep up with what's going on in my life, 'cause I know we're all going to be super busy really soon. I'll update you when I get back from SLC and let you know how it went! And then it's on to Vegas, LA, Miami & NY before the final move. Wish me luck!
